An Inspector Enrique Alvarez Mallorca Mystery of Yacht Explosions and Expat Crime

On the sun-drenched Balearic island of Mallorca, easy going Inspector Enrique Alvarez of the Spanish Police investigates a series of suspicious deaths among the wealthy English expatriate community, culminating in a violent yacht explosion off the coast.

Facing pressure from local officials to rule the deaths accidental and protect Mallorca's lucrative tourism trade, Alvarez trusts his instincts. Digging into land deals, insurance fraud, and hidden rivalries, Alvarez works to connect the fatalities before another expat falls victim.

Why You’ll Love This Book

Roderic Jeffries delivers vivid Mediterranean island settings, dry humor, and a charmingly unhurried Spanish detective. A delightful police procedural for fans of cozy European mysteries and Mediterranean crime fiction.

New: Direct from the publisher; immaculate, unread condition.
Like New: Pristine condition with minimal to no shelf wear; looks unread.
Very Good: Lightly read with minor shelf wear or light cover creasing. Pages are clean, crisp, and unmarked with a tight binding. (Our baseline standard for pre-loved books.)
Good: A well-loved reading copy with visible shelf wear or page aging, but fully intact and structurally sound.
