A Contemporary Indian Campus Novel of IIT Delhi Students, Academic Pressure, and Rebellion

At the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, three undergraduate engineering students—Hari, Ryan, and Alok—struggle to meet the institution's ruthless grading standards. Earning a cumulative Grade Point Average in the five-point range out of ten, they are labeled academic underachievers.

Facing parental expectations, strict professors, and rote memorization, the trio devises a risky plan to steal examination papers from the department head's office, leading to campus scandals and unexpected self-discovery. This bestseller served as the basis for the blockbuster film 3 Idiots.

Why You’ll Love This Book

Chetan Bhagat's debut novel captures the pressures and humor of Indian college life. Essential reading for fans of contemporary global fiction, campus novels, and South Asian literature.
