An Arkansas True Crime Investigation of Alice McArthur, Mary Lee Orsini, and Contract Homicide

In July 1982 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Alice McArthur, wife of prominent attorney Thomas McArthur, was shot to death in her home by hitmen posing as delivery workers. The Pulaski County Sheriff's investigation unraveled a conspiracy organized by Mary Lee Orsini, a client who orchestrated the assassination.

Author Jan Meins documents the police wiretaps, ballistics analysis, and Arkansas court trials that convicted Orsini and her accomplices. The narrative explores political legal drama and contract murder in Little Rock.
