Lita Grey Chaplin's 1966 Memoir of Her Marriage to Charlie Chaplin

First published in 1966 by Bernard Geis Associates and released in mass-market paperback by Dell Publishing Co., My Life with Chaplin: An Intimate Memoir is an autobiography by actress Lita Grey Chaplin, written with Morton Cooper.

Grey recounts her relationship with Charlie Chaplin, starting from when she was cast at age twelve in The Kid and later hired as the fifteen-year-old female lead for The Gold Rush. After becoming pregnant by Chaplin, the two were married in Mexico in 1924. The memoir describes Chaplin's private life, film sets, and working methods, as well as their turbulent three-year marriage, the birth of their sons Charles Jr. and Sydney, and their public 1927 divorce.

Why You'll Love This Book
