A Florida True Crime Investigation of James Randall, Tire Tread Forensics, and Highway Murders

During the 1990s in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties, Florida, serial predator James Randall targeted women along Tampa Bay highways, strangling victims and dumping their bodies along rural roadsides.

Former crime scene investigator Alva Busch details the multi-agency task force that linked Randall through microscopic carpet fiber analysis and rare tire-tread impressions. The book tracks the forensic science and Florida court proceedings that secured Randall's capital conviction.

Why You’ll Love This Book

Alva Busch provides a primary-source forensic perspective on physical evidence and serial murder investigations. Essential for readers of Patricia Cornwell, John Douglas, and Robert Graysmith.
