Stephen P. Barry, who served twelve years as personal valet to Prince Charles, provides an insider memoir of daily routines and private moments inside Buckingham Palace.

Drawing on his decade-long career serving the heir to the British throne during the 1970s and 1980s, Stephen P. Barry details royal court etiquette, personal habits, travel protocols, and household staff dynamics. The memoir offers firsthand observations surrounding Prince Charles's bachelor years, Highgrove estate life, and private reactions to the 1981 royal wedding of Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.

Barry presents a candid, respectful look at the human personalities behind the Crown and the rigid traditions governing the British Royal Household.
