A Lucille Colandro Easter Board Book of Cumulative Rhymes and Spring Treats

Lucille Colandro presents a holiday-themed variation on the classic cumulative nursery rhyme. In this spring edition, the hungry old lady swallows a baby chick, followed by straw, an egg, jelly beans, a basket, a bow, and seeds. Paired with Jared Lee's expressive cartoon art, her unusual feast builds toward a colorful surprise for the Easter Bunny.

Why You’ll Love This Book

Jared Lee's vibrant illustrations and Lucille Colandro's repetitive rhyming rhythm build early reading predictability and holiday fun for toddlers. A sturdy board book choice for Easter baskets and spring storytimes.
