Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder

It starts as a subtle itch on the back of her neck. Sequestered at home with her toddler, a mother dismisses her sharpening senses and sudden temper as the standard exhaustion of suburban life. But the transformation is physical: she is developing a primal hunger, animalistic instincts, and a literal patch of fur. Nightbitch follows her descent into a feral state as she navigates the crushing boredom of childcare and the realization that she is turning into a dog. It is a dark, surreal reclamation of identity where the only way to survive the domestic trap is to grow teeth.
