A Heartwarming Wyoming Sled Dog Racing Chapter Book of Courage, Family, and Loyalty

On a potato farm in Jackson, Wyoming, ten-year-old Little Willy faces a sudden crisis when his grandfather falls mysteriously ill and loses the will to live over $500 in back taxes. Determined to save the farm and his grandfather's life, Willy enters the annual National Dogsled Race, staking his college savings on the $500 cash prize. Racing alongside his loyal Samoyed, Searchlight, Willy must compete against Stone Fox—a formidable, undefeated Native American racer who uses his winnings to buy back ancestral Shoshone land.

John Reynolds Gardiner delivers a fast-paced, emotionally resonant chapter book focused on grit, intergenerational love, and sacrifice.
